Members honoured the forthcoming Coronation by raising a toast to the King and singing the National Anthem. Many were dressed in red white and blue for the occasion. What a wonderful lunch. The atmosphere was electric, full of fun and laughter. Paul Robbins was an amusing and charismatic speaker, leading us through the nostalgia of the 60s, a decade that transformed the country. We travelled from Harold Macmillan to the first moon landing, spotting pop groups along the way. Truly a day to remember.
